Annual Golf Classic
Participants
Our Annual Golf Classic scheduled for May 12 at Torresdale
Frankford Country Club has been cancelled. The course is
unplayable due to the heavy rains we have been experiencing. The
event will be rescheduled for July or August. Watch this site for
the exact date. Currently are the slots are full. If there
are cancellations due to the date change, we will inform you.
The committee plans an eventful day for all the participants. The
early starters begin with a continental breakfast. On the course there will
be the usual liquid refreshments. Luncheon will be served beginning at 11 AM. All participants are automatically entered in the putting contest
and there are prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive.
The day concludes with a cocktail hour followed by our awards dinner. The
cost for the day is all inclusive. If you're not a golfer feel free to join us for Lunch and Dinner or just Dinner. You may also enjoy refreshments
and kibbitz.
Net proceeds from the Golf Classic are donated to the Northeast Catholic
Alumni Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. to underwrite tuition assistance for

Our Annual Summer fling at the shore will be held at Lighthouse Pointe in Wildwood, NJ
on Saturday afternoon August 2 from 2 PM to 6 PM. Beer, wine and soda along with a buffet are provided for price of
admission. Tickets are available in advance from Class Representatives, the Alumni Office, and the School Office
at $25 per person or you can fill in and print the registration form and mail it
with your check to Northeast Catholic Alumni Association, Inc., P. 0. Box 4896,
Philadelphia, PA 19124-0896 to obtain tickets. Tickets may be purchased on the day of the event
at $30 per person. This is a joint venture of the Association and the School.

FALCONWAY was established in 1989, as a unique appeal to our alumni and friends to raise money in a combined appeal to benefit our three favorite charities - Northeast Catholic Alumni Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc.; Save Northeast Catholic Fund, Inc; and the Oblates of St. Francis deSales.
Since its inception the Appeal has raised over 4.6 million dollars. The drive begins on November 1 and concludes on October 31 of the following year. You can forward your tax deductible contribution to any one or all of three organizations. Checks should be made payable to FALCONWAY and mailed to P. 0. Box 4896, Philadelphia, PA 19124-0896. The Annual Fall gathering of Falcons
is held prior to our annual clash with the Pioneers of Frankford on Thanksgiving Day. For the past several years this affair has been held at Chickie & Pete's, 11000 Roosevelt Boulevard from
1 PM to 4 PM.
Tickets, the price of which includes beer, soda, and food, are available from
the Alumni Office or Class Representatives. The date is usually the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving.
It gives us a chance to root the Falcons to a victory on Thanksgiving. Watch this site for the exact date, time, site, and price. Tickets may be obtained by mailing your check to Northeast Catholic Alumni Association, Inc., P. 0. Box 4896, Philadelphia, PA 19124-0896.

An event that has been on our calendar since we were founded in 1929 is our annual Memorial Mass and Communion Breakfast.
Mass was concelebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of SS Peter and Paul at 8:30
AM on March 2 by the clergy members of the Class of '57 commemorating their Golden Anniversary. Immediately following services we adjourned to the
Sheraton City Center Hotel for breakfast. The principal speaker
was Don Tollefson, Sports Anchor of Fox29 News, the recipient of our annual Outstanding Achievement Award. If you plan to attend

Tickets bought in advance are $25 per person, mail your check to Northeast

Our Annual 5K Run and Walk was held on Saturday, April 12, on
Kelly Drive.
We started from in front of Lloyd Hall at 9 AM. Seventy four runners participated in the race
others took part in the one mile walk. Watch the calendar for the more information

New England and
Canada Cruise On October 18, we
sail on the Norwegian Majesty from the Philadelphia Cruise
Terminal. Your seven night cruise vacation includes stops in St. John, New
Brunswick; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Bar Harbor, Maine; and Boston, Massachusetts.
Prices range from $528 to $778 per person. Taxes and port charges of

Mohegan Sun Casino Package includes
roundtrip deluxe motorcoach transportation to Uncasville, CT. Two nights
at the Mohegan Sun Resort. Also included are $30 in food coupons OR three
free buffets; a $30 free bet coupon; and the option of a second day trip to the
neighboring Foxwoods Casino. Prices are $299 (single), $209 (double), $199
(triple). The bus leaves Philadelphia at 8:15 AM on November 19 and will

Rainbow Dinner
Theatre We will journey to
Paradise, PA on November 30 for the show Deck the Halls & Clean the
Kitchen at the Rainbow Dinner Theatre. The bus will leave North
Catholic at 10:30 AM. Our first stop will be at the Rockvale Outlets -
with an hour to an hour and a half for some Christmas shopping. The on to
the Theatre for dinner at 2:30 PM followed by the show at 4 PM. We will
leave for the return trip to Philadelphia at 6:15 PM. Price is $80 per

This Reunion invites members from the Classes of 1929 through 1947 to join together for an afternoon of conviviality and reminiscing.
Each year, another class is added. The Reunion is held in
the Fall. Festivities include a luncheon and then an afternoon of dancing to old time favorites provided by a live group. Watch the

Every Memorial Day since 1949, we have met at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima at the entrance to the Northeast Catholic Campus to honor our war dead. Prior to the services there will be a Mass in the school auditorium at 9 AM. After Mass, we enjoy a continental breakfast in the cafeteria.
