Annual Golf Classic

Our Annual Golf Classic was held on Monday,
May 16, at
Juniata Golf Course.
It was an eventful day for all the participants. This year we
had only one flight - at 1 PM.
Price was $100 per person which included the putting
contest, prizes for
closest to the pin and longest drive.
The day concluded with a cocktail hour and awards
dinner at Romano's Caterers, a block north of the course. Print registration form.

Our Annual Summer fling at the shore was held at Lighthouse Pointe in Wildwood, NJ
on Saturday afternoon August 6, 2011.
Next year's event will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Lighthouse
Pointe from 2PM to 6 PM.

FALCONWAY was
established in 1989, as a unique appeal to our alumni and friends to raise money
in a combined appeal to benefit our two favorite charities - Northeast Catholic Alumni Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc.; and the Oblates of St. Francis deSales.
Since its inception the Appeal has raised over 5 million dollars. The drive begins on November 1 and concludes on October 31 of the following year. You can forward your tax deductible contribution to
either one or both organizations. Checks should be made payable to FALCONWAY and mailed to P. 0. Box

The
Annual Fall gathering of Falcons will continue to be held to commemorate our annual clash with the
Pioneers of Frankford on Thanksgiving Day. This year the affair was held on November 20 at Chickie's
& Pete's.
While there was no Eagles game to watch, the crowd had a good time, as usual,
and we were featured on ABC Channel 6 news.
It gives us a chance to reminisce about previous Falcon victories
particularly last year. Tickets may be obtained by mailing your check to

event that has been on our calendar since we were founded in 1929 is our annual
Memorial Mass and Communion Breakfast. This year, Mass will be concelebrated at St.
Martin of Tours, Roosevelt Boulevard & Sanger St. at 8:30 AM on March 25 by
the clergy members of the Classes of '86, '61, and '36. Immediately following
Mass we will adjourn to Regal Caterers, 5411 Oxford Avenue (just across Oxford
Circle from church) for
breakfast. The recipient of our Annual Outstanding Achievement Award will
be Philadelphia Inquirer sports columnist Frank Fitzpatrick. We are still
looking for a Toastmaster.
At the Breakfast we will continue to induct men into the NECHS
Hall of Fame. Hopefully, a member will be inducted in each of the
fields: Athletics,
Business/Labor/Military, Science/Religion, and Service to NECHS and Community.

This Reunion invites members from the Classes of 1929 through 1951 to join
together for an afternoon of conviviality and reminiscing. Each year, another
class is added. This year, the Reunion was held on Sunday, October 23 at
Randi's Restaurant, 1619 Grant Ave, Philadelphia (at the rear of the Grant Plaza
Shopping Mall). Festivities included a luncheon at noon and then an
afternoon of dancing to old time favorites. Watch this site for

Every Memorial Day since 1949, we met at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima at the entrance to the Northeast Catholic Campus to honor our war dead.
This year, Mass was celebrated at Resurrection of Our Lord church, and dedication of the Shrine and services were held at our location at Rhawn and Fairfield Streets.
